Barbora has created original opera productions at the Wiener Staatsoper, Staatsoper unter der Linden, Den Norske Opera, Dutch National Opera, and English National Opera. Her current season includes new productions of Madama Butterfly (Geneva), Dialogues des Carmelites (Prague), and Fiery Angel (Bremen); recent successes include Peter Grimes (Amsterdam), Katya Kabanova (Bergen), and Benvenuto Cellini (Dresden). Her 2026-27 season includes productions of Tannhäuser at the Staatstheater Nürnberg, Madama Butterfly at the Hungarian State Opera, and Ophelia’s Flügel at the Bühnen Bern.
