This season Brittany appears as Bess at the Metropolitan Opera, following performances in the role at Washington National Opera and Teatro Regio Torino. Other recent appearances include Musetta at the Met, San Francisco Opera, and Houston Grand Opera, Destiny, Loneliness, and Greta (Fire Shut Up in My Bones) at the Met and Lyric Opera Chicago, Sister Rose (Dead Man Walking) at San Francisco Opera, Donna Anna at Florentine Opera, and Esther (Silent Light) at National Sawdust. Her upcoming season includes debuts with Boston Lyric Opera and the Komische Oper Berlin in Barrie Kosky’s new production of Porgy and Bess, and future seasons include appearances at the Met, Houston Grand Opera, and the Philadelphia Orchestra.
