The world’s leading Siegfried, Clay has sung the role at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Bayreuth Festival, Rotterdam Philharmonic, and Concertgebouw. He has also appeared as Tristan, Tannhäuser, Parsifal, Bacchus, Kaiser, Florestan, Drum Major, Radames, and Calaf at the Wiener Staatsoper, Bayerische Staatsoper, Liceu, and the Royal Ballet and Opera, and in concert with the Berlin Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra, Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. His 2026-27 season includes his Metropolitan Opera debut as Samson as well as Bacchus at the Canadian Opera Company, Parsifal at the Bayerische Staatsoper, and Tannhäuser at the Teatro Real.
