Ivan recently made his debut at the Staatsoper Hamburg as the Angel (Das Paradies und die Peri) directed by Tobias Kratzer, and at the Deutsche Oper Berlin in Kirill Serebrennikov’s Nureyev. Other recent role debuts include Oberon (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), the Angel (Rubenstein’s The Demon), Nezhata (Rimsky-Korsakov’s Sadko), and Bacchus (Ristori’s Arianna) at the Mariinsky Theatre.
