Nicholas is a composer, librettist, and author based in Brussels. A longtime collaborator of J.M. Coetzee, their operatic collaborations include Slow Man (2014, Poznań), Is This The Gate? (2024, Adelaide), and Elizabeth Costello in Limbo (2028, La Monnaie). Other operas include Shell Shock (2014, La Monnaie) and L.I.T.A.N.I.E.S (2020), both in collaboration with Nick Cave.
