Svetlana recently made exciting role debuts as Mařenka at the Teatro Real and Turandot at La Monnaie. A versatile singing actress, she has starred in Calixto Bieito’s productions of Tosca and Otello, Christof Loy’s Eugene Onegin, Tannhäuser, and Zazà, Stefan Herheim’s Pique Dame, Lotte de Beer’s Jenufa, and Dmitri Tcherniakov’s The Tale of Tsar Saltan. She has appeared at the Opéra de Paris, Bayerisches Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper Berlin, La Monnaie, Liceu, Opera di Roma, Dutch National Opera, Norwegian National Opera, Dallas Opera, and the Theater Basel where she was a member of the ensemble.
